Toyota Hiace Launched In India
It has been a long time since I heard that Hayas, the MPV star of the Japanese automaker Toyota, is coming to India. The 2021 model of the 14-seater MPV Hayas has now arrived in India, according to a new report. Gadiwadi.com reports that the vehicle has reached Indian showrooms. It is reported that the Hiaz MPV will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 55 lakh. The company has since launched the vehicle for several test runs.
The MPV has been on Toyota's home market in Japan since 1967. However, it did not reach the international market until the end of 2004. In 2019, Toyota introduced the new model Hayas.
In India, the company will be offering a diesel engine option in the Hayas. Toyota Hiaz will only be available in two color options, Silver and White. According to the report, the first batch of the vehicle, which will be manufactured entirely overseas in India, will include 50 units.
Since 2019, there have been reports that the Hayas, a vehicle equipped with Toyota's New Global Architecture, will arrive in India. The fifth-generation model of the Hayas is all set to go on sale in India. But the sixth-generation model of this vehicle has now reached the global streets. This model has up to 17 seats. Toyota Hayas will be available in two variants, Normal with Standard Roof and Longer Version with High Roof options, depending on the body type.
The heart of the Toyota Fortuner is the 2.8 liter four cylinder diesel engine. This engine produces 151 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The transmission is a six-speed manual. At Fortuner, on the other hand, it produces 204 bhp. Produces strength. Hayas' global model is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine and a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine.
The 14-seater can be folded down to the last row seat. The manufacturers claim that this will increase the luggage space. Auxiliary, two-din audio system with USB connectivity, power steering, AC vents in all rows, power sliding rear doors. The car is reported to have fabric seats, power windows, rear defogger, halogen headlamps, dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes with EBD and power sliding rear doors.
